Didja Know?

Stranger Worlds is a 6-part Star Trek story set in the Kelvin Timeline created by the Romulan Nero's incursion into the past in the 2009 Star Trek movie (starting with "Rebirth" in the PopApostle ST chronology). It was published by IDW as the 6-part mini-series Star Trek/Green Lantern (2016-2017) a cross-over of the characters of Star Trek and those of the various Lantern Corps from the DC Universe of comic books published by DC Comics. Stranger Worlds follows the events of the first Star Trek/Green Lantern crossover, The Spectrum War.

This mini-series takes place in an alternate timeline than the one followed in the main PopApostle Star Trek chronology of the Kelvin Timeline.

Didja Notice?

John Stewart, Guy Gardner, and Kilowog aid Starfleet in the battle against Atrocitus aboard the U.S.S. Bryant. This appears to be the first appearance of this ship in the ST universe. It may also be the first appearance of this class of ship, which I've not been able to identify. USS Bryant

Page 18 reveals that Guy Gardner is afraid to use the transporter. I wonder if he and Dr. McCoy have ever commiserated over their feelings towards it!

At the end of the issue, Atrocitus has freed Khan and his followers from their cryogenic prison tubes (where they were left at the end of Star Trek Into Darkness). He apparently has also paid the price for that, as Khan now possesses his Red Lantern ring!
