Didja Know?
Stranger Worlds is a 6-part
Star Trek story set in the Kelvin Timeline created by the
Romulan Nero's incursion into the past in the 2009 Star Trek
movie (starting with
"Rebirth" in the PopApostle ST chronology). It was published
by IDW as the 6-part mini-series Star Trek/Green Lantern
(2016-2017) a
cross-over of the characters of Star Trek and those of
the various Lantern Corps from the DC Universe of comic books
published by DC Comics.
Stranger Worlds follows the events of the first
Star Trek/Green Lantern crossover,
The Spectrum War.
This mini-series takes place in an
alternate timeline than the one followed in the main PopApostle
Star Trek chronology of the Kelvin Timeline.

Didja Notice?
On pages 4-5, the words spoken by Hal, John, Guy, and
Kilowog as they recharge their rings are the Green Lantern
oath.
On page 13, Khan says he knows that Kirk has Augment blood
in him now. Dr. McCoy created a serum of Khan's blood which
was injected into Kirk's dead body, resuscitating him, near
the end of Star Trek Into
Darkness. It's not clear how Khan would know about
this, though his Red Lantern ring may have been able to
detect it.
Carol Ferris seems to have determined that she can recharge
her Violet ring, powered by the emotion love, without a
battery, simply because she is surrounded by such loving
people aboard the Enterprise.
At the end of the issue, Hal and Kirk begin exploring space
together as Green Lanterns and Hal remarks to Kirk that he
noticed an interesting star system in the Enterprise's
star charts that Starfleet hasn't checked out yet, one
definitely worth checking out and which has a big red sun.
He is presumably referring to the red sun Rao, the home star
of the planet Krypton, origin world of Superman.
